The Platypus Story is an Indigenous dreamtime story shared by indigenous Elder Maxine Gossland from Wongan Hills in the story Maxine talks about the platypus first encounter with other animals such as the kangaroo and how the other animals tried very hard to persuade the platypus to join there group because of all the similarities they all shared with the platypus but in the end the platypus decided that himself and his family would start their own group.
